Iolana Dancing since the age of 6, Iolana grew up with a passion and natural talent for interpretative dance, modern jazz, and street dance. She has shared with her community in her home country the beauty of graceful movement by teaching women dances of praise. Iolana continues to pursue her love for dance through the study of Polynesian and Middle Eastern dances.

Aloha Wind is a Polynesian dance group based in the greater central Iowa. Aloha Wind has a strong presence in Des Moines, Ames, and surrounding communities. We perform a variety of dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. Aloha Wind’s goals are to educate, as well as to entertain, our audiences about the beauty, power, and diversity of the dances of the South Pacific.
