Ilima In the tradition of Aloha and the Hawaiian Spirit, Ilima’s love for her culture can be seen when she speaks the ancient language of the Hula. For Ilima, the Hula is the soul of the Hawaiian spirit, the divine voice of Aloha. Her movements are a celebration of a glorious achievement and coupled tragedy. Let Ilima’s reflections of the Hula awaken you to the spirit of life. Ilima will be offering a Hula and Tahitian class at both the beginner and intermediate level through Des Moines Adult Education.
